About game

RedPew Engine is a 2D game engine that lets you create, test, and ship games from a single application. It includes an integrated visual editor, two scripting systems, GPU-accelerated rendering, and tools for every part of the development process.

The engine combines visual scripting, GPU-accelerated effects, and cross-platform deployment, enabling developers to concentrate on gameplay and design rather than low-level infrastructure.

Key Features

■ Integrated visual editor with scene hierarchy, inspector, tilemap painting, and sprite animation

■ RedPrint visual scripting — node-based game logic, no coding required

■ Full .NET (C#) scripting with hot reload and IntelliSense

■ GPU rendering with automatic Vulkan / Metal / DirectX 12 backend

■ Node-based VFX graph — GPU-driven particle effects

■ Multiple post-processing effects — bloom, color grading, chromatic aberration, vignette, and more

■ Dual physics engines with 6 collider types and effector zones

■ Spatial audio with HRTF, bus mixer, and per-bus filters

■ Cinematic camera rig with follow, dolly, shake, and priority blending

■ Native Aseprite import plus PNG, WebP, TGA, QOI, and DDS support

■ Unified input system — keyboard, mouse, gamepad, touch, pen, motion sensors

■ Built-in profiler with flame graph and trace export

■ Deploy to HTML5 — desktop, mobile, and console targets on the roadmap
