Internet Cafe Tycoon
About game
Welcome to the golden age of internet cafes!
It's the late '90s. CRT monitors hum in unison. Somewhere across the room MSN Messenger pings, and a Counter-Strike round just ended with that unmistakable "Terrorists Win" sting. You signed the lease yesterday. The keys are in your hand. Your first customer just walked in.
Internet Cafe Tycoon drops you into the bustling chaos of running a 2000s LAN cafe. Seat customers, deliver overpriced energy drinks, dodge municipal inspections, keep rival groups from punching each other on your sofa, and try to become the Internet King across a tight, replayable 30-day campaign.
Features
Build, Manage, Scale Start with 3 PCs and a dream. Buy vending machines, hire staff, upgrade your equipment, expand into a 7-cabinet arcade hall, and ride the customer flow up to 10 PCs blasting through their evenings.
Hire a Ghost Apprentice Yes, you read that right. A spectral apprentice (it's a long story) drifts through walls to auto-deliver orders, prep vending drinks, and - once you train them - sprint over to break up fights. Promote them through three tiers for faster service. Hire a second one once your wallet allows.
Run the Floor Seat normal customers, fawn over VIPs, gently reject underage gamers before the inspectors slap you with a fine, and pray no two rival groups end up side-by-side on the bench. They will fight. Your reputation will take the hit. The crowd noise reacts in real time.
Seven Playable Arcade Cabinets Each one is a real mini-game. Maze, Fight, Steel Ball, Race, Space Defense, Gunner, Beat. Some customers want a PC, some want a specific arcade. Wrong cabinet = half pay and unhappy faces. Right call = full payout and a regular for life.
Daily Drama Power outages, internet slowdowns, water cuts, virus outbreaks, municipal inspections, rival cafe poaching, sponsor deals, customer birthdays, the occasional pirate-software scare. Every day brings a new decision - usually three at once.
Three Difficulty Modes Easy is for the vibe (double starting cash, patient customers, PCs never die, gentler rep losses). Standard is the designed challenge. Challenger locks the gloves off - tighter budgets, harsher rep losses, twitchier customers, weekly tax that genuinely bites. Earn that one.
20+ Perks, 20-Level Campaign Level up across a 20-level ladder with a fresh unlock at almost every step. Pick from a pool of common, uncommon, and rare perks at each level-up. Build a fast-net loadout, a tip-maxed bahşiş empire, or a fight-suppressing security operation. Three starting builds steer your early game in different directions.
Closing Bell At Lv 16 you unlock the closing bell. Ring it to end the day early. Customers shuffle out, the lights dim, and you spend the rest of the evening puttering through cozy mini-games before tomorrow's open. Use it to take pressure off, or to escape a particularly bad rush.
Authentic 2000s Texture CRT scanlines, pixel art down to individual customers' walk cycles, era-correct game references on the walls, and a soundtrack of hushed lo-fi tones for the daytime grind that swaps to warm tape-deck loops once you buy the music system. The customer activities ring true: Metin2 sessions, MSN chats, Sohbet odası lurkers, IRC veterans, and the kid in the corner pretending to do their homework.
Three Languages Fully playable in English, Turkish, and Spanish - all UI, customer activities, events, and tutorials translated.
Demo (Steam Next Fest)
The demo is a focused 8-day, Lv 8 slice - roughly 30 minutes of play. You'll meet the apprentice system, unlock the first arcade cabinet, wrestle with your first weekly inspection, and get a taste of why this loop becomes dangerously addictive at peak hours. Then the demo doors close and the wishlist button starts looking very inviting.
