Strategic Infinite Scrolling

Starting as a humble pawn, your goal is simple: keep moving north. Every row you advance increases your score, but the board never ends and the clock keeps ticking, pushing you to make split-second decisions. Will you take the direct path to maximise your score, or veer off-course to capture enemy pieces for currency and fill up your coffers?

Master the Sub-In System

You aren't stuck as a pawn forever. Utilise the Sub-In System to swap your current piece for powerful inventory units like the Queen, Knight, or Rook. Each subbed piece has a limited turn count before it enters a real-time cooldown, requiring you to manage your resources carefully to survive the climb.

Shop, Upgrade, and Adapt

During your run you will encounter brief sanctuary at the Shop. Here, the timer pauses, and the King opens his doors. Use your hard-earned currency to:

• Upgrade your pieces: Increase the number of turns a subbed piece stays active.

• Manipulate time: Purchase consumables to add precious seconds back to your run.

• Change the game: Invest in modifiers to change the gameplay to your play style and advantage.
