Plucked

You're a duck. The pond disagrees with that.

Somewhere out there is a peaceful little wetland full of frogs minding their own business. You are not going to let that continue. Plucked is a top-down bullet-hell roguelite where you play a small, round, alarmingly well-armed duck and survive wave after wave of everything that wants you for lunch.

Shoot first, quack later

Pick a loadout and waddle in. You handle the moving; your guns auto-aim the nearest unlucky amphibian. Between waves you spend XP and coins to build a duck that has absolutely no business being this dangerous - more damage, faster fire, thicker feathers, or just spikes, for some reason.

Then comes the fun part: merge your weapons. Two of the same gun fuse into a meaner one, all the way up to Tier 4. Stack a humble pistol into a hand cannon, or hoard shotguns until something breaks. (It will be the frogs.)

What you're getting into

• Nine weapons, all unreasonable - pistols, shotguns, an assault rifle, a sniper, an actual rocket launcher, a ricocheting pebble, plus melee: a knife, a reach-y pole, and a frog-cleaving katana.
  
• Merge and sell - fuse duplicate guns into higher tiers and ditch the ones you've outgrown.
  
• Build-crafting that gets out of hand - every level-up offers upgrades, every shop offers items. Go glass cannon, go tank, go full porcupine. Your run, your bad decisions.
  
• Frogs, crocodiles, piranhas... and worse - the roster escalates as you push deeper, with named bosses lying in wait at waves 10, 20, 30 and 40 that absolutely will not be reasoned with.
  
• A pond that looks the part - a crisp pixel-art arena of grass, lily-pad ponds, flower patches and rocky outcrops, in three sizes from claustrophobic to sprawling.
  
• Pick your pressure - tighter arenas pay out more XP; bigger ones hit harder. Choose your poison.

The pond fights back

It starts with frogs. It does not stay frogs. Tongues, charges, leaps, things that split in two when you kill them - every few waves something new turns up to ruin your run, and the bosses bring friends. Last long enough and the waves stop being polite about it. Neither should you.
