About game

vibemon is a local-first AI companion studio for streamers and normal people who also deserve questionable little desktop friends. Start from a prompt, an image, or a 3D model, and hatch an animated companion with its own look, voice, personality, and obvious personal issues.

It can live on your desktop or appear on stream, reacting with voice, expressions, animations, and sounds. Sometimes it helps. Sometimes it judges you with upsetting accuracy. Sometimes it says something so dumb it loops back around into content. That is, unfortunately, the product. We are being honest here.

You do not need to be an AI wizard to use it. We already stuffed the app with the shiny expensive tech. You describe it, hatch it, launch it, and have a stupidly good time. If you want to dig deeper, you can tune its personality, lore, voice, emotions, animations, brain, heartbeat, vision, hearing, generation quality, or even hook it up to your own custom servers. If you do not feel like doing any of that, it still works. Suspiciously convenient.

vibemon is built local-first. If your GPU has the muscle, your companion can run on your own little `puter, without charging you cloud-token rent every time it opens its mouth. Cloud APIs are still there as a quality option, not the entire point of the project. Characters, settings, and generated assets stay local, and can be shared or loaded through Steam Workshop.

vibemon also includes safety checks for prompts, uploaded images, generated characters, and the things your companion is about to say before it says them. We know how important that is on stream :D This is a very serious tool for deeply unserious goals: a beautiful waste of bleeding-edge technology so things can simply be fun lmao.
