HackMeNow
About game
HackMeNow is a terminal-style hacking puzzle game where every command matters.
You are dropped into AngrySysOps OS, a fictional Linux-like system full of logs, hidden files, fake services, compromised hosts, rogue processes, firewalls, black-site systems, and a watching intelligence that does not want you to reach the truth.
Across 15 levels, you will investigate incidents, follow evidence, decode secrets, bypass traps, manipulate simulated systems, and uncover a cyber-mystery that escalates far beyond a simple training exercise.
This is not a button-mashing hacking fantasy. HackMeNow is built around observation, logic, command-line thinking, and careful decision-making.
Key Features:
• Terminal-style gameplay built around Linux-inspired commands
• 15 handcrafted levels with escalating cyber puzzles
• Logs, filesystems, hidden paths, encoded clues, and simulated services
• Story-driven progression with cutscenes, mentor dialogue, and branching consequences
• Hacking, forensics, social engineering, firewall evasion, rogue AI, black-site infiltration, and final exfiltration arcs
• Timed challenges, tripwires, honeypots, and puzzle fail states
• Keyboard-first gameplay for players who enjoy command-line logic
• Designed for beginners and curious players, but with enough depth for technical minds
What You Will Do:
Investigate suspicious logs.
Recover missing files.
Trace intrusions.
Decode payloads.
Avoid honeypots.
Use simulated Linux commands.
Bypass firewall rules.
Shut down rogue AI.
Infiltrate restricted systems.
Make choices that shape the ending.
HackMeNow teaches through play, but it is first and foremost a puzzle game: read carefully, think like an operator, and do not trust every file you see.
The system is watching.
Type carefully.
