Plant Game
About game
In Plant Game, you start as a fragile seedling with almost no reliable information. You don’t get a clean HUD or perfect numbers at the beginning, because you haven’t grown the organs to understand them yet. Time keeps moving, the seasons turn, and the environment presses in with heat, cold, drought, shade, and sudden shifts you can only barely feel at first.
Your choices shape what you become. Spend precious energy to grow leaves for photosynthesis, roots for water access, or harden tissue to endure stress. As you survive, you can invest in biological “sensors” that gradually transform your perception: vague feelings become clearer signals, and the interface becomes part of your organism rather than a default overlay.
The goal is the payoff: a plant reveal that reflects your entire run. When you bloom, you see what you built at its best. When you fail, you still see the story your body wrote in damage, scarcity, and survival.
Planned/aiming for the full release scope includes expanding habitats and run variety, stronger sensor progression and balance, richer state-aware body text, more environmental pressure and hazards (like pests/fungal threats), and a more advanced reveal/visualizer direction - while keeping the minimum promise rooted in what the game already is today in our demo: blind survival, growth-as-identity, and the final reveal. We're also planning to allow users to grow their plants without any obstacles through sandbox mode.
