About game

OFFROAD Recovery: Yoho Trails is a terrain‑first off‑road simulation about keeping remote mountain routes open through recovery work, cargo hauling, and keeping remote sites accessible.

Every job begins with the route ahead. Mud, rock, water, weather, and damaged roads determine how you approach the work and whether you can reach the destination at all.

Recover stranded vehicles, deliver essential cargo, clear access routes, and keep remote sites supplied across a rugged backcountry region where changing conditions affect visibility, traction, and route planning. Success depends on reading the terrain, choosing the right equipment, and adapting to the conditions in front of you.

Your route and job decisions change how the trails evolve.

There are no on‑foot sections and no character interactions. Every challenge is solved from behind the wheel using your vehicle, your equipment, and your understanding of the terrain.

Terrain‑First Driving

Navigate mud, rock, washouts, steep grades, river crossings, and unstable roads. Ground conditions, vehicle positioning, and traction management shape every recovery.

Recovery and Route Work

Recover stuck vehicles, haul cargo, reopen access routes, move equipment, and help keep remote operations connected across the region.

Dynamic Weather and Conditions

Rain, fog, changing water levels, and shifting conditions affect visibility, traction, and route selection.

Industrial Recovery Equipment

Use winches, anchors, tow rigs, and vehicle‑mounted recovery tools to solve terrain‑driven problems and complete demanding jobs.

A Working Mountain Region

Roads, bridges, sensors, maintenance sites, and damaged infrastructure reveal which routes remain operational and which require attention. The landscape reflects ongoing use, weather damage, and the work needed to keep routes open.

Cab‑First Simulation

All gameplay is vehicle‑based. Every task, recovery, and route decision happens from the driver’s seat.

Future Plans

We’re exploring optional asymmetrical co‑op between mobile and console versions, where players take on different recovery roles across shared terrain. This is a long‑term vision and not part of the initial release.

Keeping the trails open means solving problems one route at a time.

Visuals shown reflect early prototype art and will continue to improve as the project grows through development and Early Access.
