ELE
About game
ELE — Mages step into trials to claim keys and secure victory. Allies may stand together, or stand against each other.
Victory is earned by carrying a complete key to the evacuation point. It demands both skill and coordination.
Elements and Attributes
There are five elements. Players start with none, and must acquire four basic ones through spellbooks—Water, Fire, Ice, and Lightning. They form a cycle, each countering the next.
The fifth is Earth—a greater power that resides in Gravity Stones. Only those who already carry a basic element may pick one up.
Beyond Health, Mana, and Stamina, players have four attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith. Elemental damage scales accordingly:
Fire — Strength and Faith
Water — Intelligence and Dexterity
Ice — Intelligence and Strength
Lightning — Dexterity and Faith
Earth — all four
Combat and Action
Staves can fire rays or strike in melee. Dash, wall-jump, glide—and mark targets for teammates.
Spells can be obtained by defeating monsters, opening chests, or trading with merchants—including projectiles, traps, decoys, backstabs, and parries.
Inventory and Weight
The pack holds potions, buffs, spellbooks, Gravity Stones, and more. Spells and items can be used when conditions are met. The pack has weight—heavier loads slow the bearer.
Key Fragments and Evacuation
Fragments are found through various means. Three fragments combine into a complete key. Carrying a key reveals its bearer's position; when a key is assembled, its location is broadcast to all. If left unclaimed too long, it vanishes and reappears elsewhere.
Attribute Menu and Sites of Grace
Points can be allocated to Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith to adjust physical damage and status buildup. Respec is only permitted at Sites of Grace.
Death and Revival
Upon death, the player becomes a spirit and roams the field. Teammates can revive them on the spot. If the fallen carried a complete key, allies may respawn beside them.
Souls are accumulated through death itself—whether by enemy players, monsters, or the hazards of the land.
Map and Enemies
Each match is set in a procedurally generated Magic Academy, filled with Sites of Grace, teleportation arrays, crystal traps, and chests.
The Summoner is among the most dangerous foes. It keeps its distance, summons knights to hinder you, and casts powerful ranged spells. Both Summoners and Knights can shift between the four basic elements to counter yours—unless you hold Earth.
Merchants
Two merchants appear: the Rune Merchant and the Soul Merchant. Defeating players earns Runes; death earns Souls. Their wares differ. Key fragments are sold only by the Rune Merchant—death alone should not grant easy passage to victory.
