About game

Twelve classes. One open world. Endless legends.

SoulForge Legends is a co-op action RPG set on Aerethia, a world torn between two factions: the

Elarian and the Legion. Pick a class, build it however you like, and go make a name for

yourself. Play solo, or bring up friends along for the ride.

The whole game is player-hosted, which is the part I'm proudest of. There's no subscription and

no server cost. When you group up, one player hosts the world directly over Steam and everyone

jumps in. And you never have to worry about your progress: everything you earn is tied to your

account and safely backed up, so your characters won't disappear. Play on your desktop tonight,

log in from your laptop tomorrow, and it's all right where you left it.

Twelve classes, and they actually play differently

The Vanguard holds the line behind a shield. The Chronoweaver messes with time. The Hellborn

throws infernal magic around, the Stormcaller chains lightning between enemies, and there are

eight more besides. Every class has its own skills, its own talent tree to grow into, and its

own look. Find the one that clicks and get good with it.

A world worth getting lost in

Aerethia is one connected map you roam at your own pace. Go quiet and solo, or fill it with your

party and cause some trouble. There are roaming Champions to hunt, world bosses that turn up

daily, hourly events to drop into, materials to gather, and professions to level. Levels don't

lock your friends out either, so a high-level buddy can still play alongside someone who just

started.

Co-op without the headaches

Everyone gets a short 8-character friend ID. Add your friends, make a party of up to five, and

you're all in the same world with one click. The leader hosts, but everyone keeps their own

character and their own progress. Nobody fights over loot, and nobody's stuck waiting for one

specific person to log on before they can play.

You're never really alone out there

Even though you host your own games, there's a whole community running alongside you. A global

chat ties everyone on Aerethia together, so you can talk, ask for a hand, show off, or just

trade insults with a stranger. Meet someone you get along with? Grab their friend ID, add them,

and party up for real. You get a channel for your group, private whispers for one-on-one, and if

you're feeling cocky, you can challenge another player straight to the Coliseum by their ID.

The friends you make here are yours to keep.

Ranked, for when you want it to count

The Crucible is the serious side of PvP: ranked 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3, queued from anywhere in the world, with a rating

that actually moves and seasons that wipe the slate. Same fixed power level, same cosmetic-only rewards. Climb as far as your skill takes you.

The Coliseum: no gear, just skill

Sometimes you just want to fight. The Coliseum throws you into a 40-player free-for-all where

everyone is set to the same power level. No stat advantage, no pay-to-win gear, nobody to blame

but your own reflexes. Win fights, earn badges, and spend them on cosmetics: trails, wings,

titles, and some very petty flags you can plant on the people you knock down. You can run it

offline too.

Plenty to chase

  • Gear up with empowerments across eight slots, from common drops to the rare stuff worth
    hunting for.

  • Grow into a talent tree that genuinely changes how you play, not just a pile of +1% nodes.

  • Gather, craft, and empower your way into a stronger character.

  • Collect cosmetic trails, wings, and titles you earn as you go.

One more thing

I'll be straight with you. SoulForge Legends started as the game my friends and I wanted to play together, and it kept

growing from there. It's built by one person, and everything in this description is in the game today, not promised

for later. I'm not finished with Aerethia either: there's more of this world on the way.

Come play.
