What is Guitar Practice Mate?

Guitar Practice Mate is a guitar practice app that combines TAB/sheet music playback, real-time performance feedback, and desktop characters.

Load built-in practice songs or your own MIDI files, slow them down, loop difficult sections, and use Training Mode to see timing issues, missed notes, and practice results directly on the score.

In addition, cute characters appear on your desktop to assist you with your guitar practice.

Features of Guitar Practice Mate

• The application includes a basic set of practice phrases ranging from beginner to advanced levels. You can also import your own MIDI files and customize sheet music, allowing you to practice at a level suited to your skill.

• The app displays sheet music and TAB notation for the guitar parts of practice songs, allowing you to practice while the song plays. Furthermore, during playback, the current playback position is displayed graphically in real time, and you can adjust the playback position via GUI controls on the score, enabling efficient repetitive practice.

• It also features a tuner.

• In Training Mode, the system automatically evaluates your performance against the song, allowing you to visually identify timing issues and missed notes. Your practice results are scored, so you can approach your practice with a game-like feel.

• The character and sheet music displays can be adjusted to fit your screen, so they won’t interfere with other applications. You can also keep them displayed on top at all times.

• You can create your own Live2D models, MIDI files, and sheet music, then upload them to the Steam Workshop to share with other users. You can also subscribe to and use Live2D models, MIDI files, and sheet music uploaded by other users.
  *Importing and uploading Live2D models requires a separate DLC (Live2D Importer).

• We are considering adding various new features, such as integration with AI-generated MIDI from guitar performances.

How to Use Guitar Practice Mate

Once you launch the application, all features are accessible through intuitive controls.
