Story

Set in 2007. Lycoris, a cold-blooded assassin raised in the underworld organization "Spider Web," is ordered to eliminate her acquaintance, a police officer named Lai. Instead, she defies the order, kills the client—Lai's superior, Lau Kin-ming—and goes on the run from the organization.

With Lai's help, she finds refuge with the triad syndicate "Red Flower Society." Arranged by their leader, Yeung Kwun, she flees to Thailand. But her past refuses to let her go.

Zhang Lei, the head of a rival syndicate who knows her tragic past. Wolf, her fellow assassin and soulmate who shares her darkness. And the relentless police force closing in on all of them.

Set across Thailand and Hong Kong, the blood-soaked fates of those living in the underworld intertwine.
As an assassin who knows only how to live by the blade, how will she bring an end to her relentless karma and face her own destiny?

Characters

Lycoris (later Yvet)

A cold-blooded assassin raised in the underworld. After killing her client, she seeks refuge with the "Red Flower Society" and flees to Thailand. There, she reunites with Zhang Lei, head of the "Hung Hing" syndicate, kicking off a turbulent drama.

Wolf

Lycoris's fellow assassin and soulmate since childhood. A nihilist with no attachment to life, he recklessly risks his own without hesitation.

Zhang Lei

The head of the "Hung Hing" syndicate. A man deeply connected to the tragedy of Lycoris's parents.

Sam

A police officer at the Tsim Sha Tsui police station. Lai's colleague, in charge of investigating Lau Kin-ming's murder. He possesses a mysterious ability to see through a person's true nature.

Chase

A police officer at the Tsim Sha Tsui police station. Lai's colleague, in charge of investigating Lau Kin-ming's murder. In reality, he is a mole planted in the police by the Hung Hing syndicate.

Lai

A police officer and Lycoris's benefactor. He risks everything to pull her out of the criminal underworld. Toward the end of the story, he makes a crucial decision.

Francis

The son of the Red Flower Society's boss, and a lawyer. Initially resentful of Yvet, he gradually finds himself drawn to her and ultimately makes a shocking choice.
