Ethereal Anchor: Rise of Yunus

Main Story

Yunus, the main character and protagonist, has almost completed his training as a novice of the Blue Matra (a well-known guild of fire mages). Ever since a powerful, unknown object literally turned Yunus’s world upside down 200 years ago, strange creatures have been appearing across the planet; they seem to have no will of their own and are not friendly towards the population. As one of many emissaries, it is Yunus’s task and trial to uncover the cause of this. Every novice is to begin the search in their homeland, partly so they can warn or protect it from the creatures.
On the path to clarity, Yunus gains experience, strengthens his flame and becomes a key figure in the exploration of the Ethereal Anchor. In doing so, he delves deep into the secrets of the planet and its history.

Setting

The game is set on the Earth-like planet Gudja, whose axis has been redefined by the Ethereal Anchor, a huge, unknown object. Consequently, the planet now rotates around the axis emanating from the Ethereal Anchor, which runs in line with the Sun. The impact claimed many lives and necessitated a restructuring of the ecological system.
