DeskFamiliar is a 3D desktop companion and visual shell for AI agents.

It comes with Hermes Agent built in, while also supporting external agents such as Codex and Claude Code.

Instead of creating yet another AI model or agent, DeskFamiliar focuses on giving AI agents a visible, expressive presence on your desktop. Your agent can appear as a character, react to conversations, show working states, and transform tool activity into natural animations and visual feedback.

The core product is free. DeskFamiliar follows a clean "pay to cool" model: core agent functionality remains free, while optional cosmetic content—including character bodies, outfits, skins, scenes, animations, and visual effects—supports future development.
