Nora Keane — The Ex-Wife
Nora is Danny Keane's ex-wife and the mother of his six-year-old daughter—an exhausted, fierce single mom who left Danny to save their child, then lost him anyway. She comes to Knox for answers no settlement can buy: what "limited" really meant, what the app did at two in the morning, and whether leaving pushed Danny over the edge. She should hate Knox—and she tries—but he's the only person who can tell her the full truth, and the only one who can share a grief that doesn't end at the courthouse door.



Helena Cross — The Regulator
Helena is senior enforcement counsel for the state gaming commission, leading the investigation that could pull Vantage's license and make Danny's death official on the record. She's also Knox's past: the woman he was with fifteen years ago, before the app and the money, who left when she saw what he was becoming.
